Charles
D. Steingas, EA, MSPA, MAAA
Charlie is the chief actuary and founding member of Cash Balance
Actuaries, LLC. After working for over 10 years on all types of
retirement plans, Charlie decided he could better serve his clients
by offering them the most personal service at more reasonable prices.
With Cash Balance Actuaries, he is able to offer cutting edge
retirement plan designs and personal service to help clients truly
understand and appreciate their plans.
Charlie graduated
from Drake University with degrees in Actuarial Science and Finance.
Since then he has become an enrolled actuary as well as a member
of the American Academy of Actuaries and the American Society of
Pension Professionals and Actuaries.

Paul
J. Marszalek
Paul joined Cash Balance Actuaries as Chief
Operating Officer in January of 2012. Paul has over 15 years of experience as a retirement plan consultant. His ability to produce
high quality, accurate work, combined with his great communication
skills made him a perfect addition to the CBA team.
Paul graduated from the University of Minnesota
with a degree in Mathematics from the Institute of Technology.

Kathryn
J. Kildahl, EA, FSA,
MAAA
Kathy has over 30 years of experience in the
administration and actuarial valuation of retirement plans, most
recently with a regional accounting firm in the Twin Cities where
she specialized in cash balance and traditional defined benefit
plans. Over her career, she has worked with a variety of plan types
and sizes, including private, public and multiemployer plans.
After graduating Summa Cum Laude from
the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire with a degree in mathematics,
Kathy attained Fellowship in the Society of Actuaries in 1982. She
has been an Enrolled Actuary and a Member of the American Academy
of Actuaries since 1983.

Jennifer
E. Steingas
Prior to joining
Cash Balance Actuaries, Jenni worked preparing plan designs for
small businesses who were considering increasing retirement contributions
to get larger tax deductions. She's also worked as a Credit Risk
Analyst and an actuarial Associate.
Jenni graduated from the University of St.
Thomas with a degree in Actuarial Science and has passed the first
two actuarial exams.
